The Uncut Society - an unconference event and workshop

10 - 4.00pm Saturday 5th March, at MadLab Edge Street, Manchester

Littoral Arts Trust and Madlab have brought together an 'unconference' - a day for everyone active in the arts to share thoughts about current events and act in a more determined way than perhaps has been the case in the last few years.

Not much information on the streets yet, but keep an eye on http://madlab.org.uk.

The State of the Arts

The RSA, with Arts Council England and others, brought together a fine group of interested parties, including government ministers, to look at where we are now, after several decades of significant growth and changes to our arts system that have been remarkable.

Find out more on the RSA site. It's a puzzle to navigate but the provocations are worth looking at.

hearing voices

If we have something to say, we need to be heard otherwise we are just silent movement. In order to be noticed we need to be seen otherwise we are invisible. If we want to make a difference we need to be something different otherwise we get lost in the crowd swimming in the wrong direction.

Welcome

Welcome to Artists Voice.

AV is a small group of artists and creative people from across the arts. Our mission is to build a dialogue between artists and society in general, that creates in turn, opportunities for artists to flourish.
